What is dan mcgwire?

Dan McGwire is a former American football player who played as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 1991 NFL Draft.

McGwire played college football at San Diego State University, where he set multiple school records and was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 1990. Despite his success in college, he struggled to find similar success in the NFL and ultimately had a relatively short career, playing for the Seahawks for just four seasons from 1991 to 1994.

McGwire was best known for being the younger brother of Mark McGwire, a former professional baseball player who set the single-season home run record in 1998. After retiring from football, Dan McGwire went on to work in real estate and later became a high school football coach.
